The Kail Association for Combating Obesity has awarded Office of the Dean for Student Affairs for its participation in many events by the National Campaign to Combat Obesity.
Office of the Dean has carried out several programs in the campaign, including a lecture to university students on the impact of obesity on the knee joints by Dr. Shadi Al-Shuwaider, as well as a campaign on sports and healthy nutrition by the Office of the Dean for Student Affairs for Voluntary work and Community Service.
Office of the Dean has also install awareness-raising designs in all the university's screens in its various colleges, has broadcast many awareness messages through the social communication accounts of the Office of the Dean, and is currently coordinating the launch of the sports marathon, which contributes to spreading the culture of sports among university students.
The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Ofaisan, expressed his appreciation for the active partnership with the Kail Association for the fight against obesity, stressing the keenness of the Rector to participate in such programs that serve the students of the university and the community, and the continuous follow-up of the Vice Rector for Educational Affairs.
