The Volunteer Club at the Deanship of Student Affairs organized a 4-hour course titled "The Power of Volunteering", which was presented by Ahmed Al-Ossailan in the Deanship of Quality and Skills Development Hall.
In the first part of the course, volunteers were introduced to the concept of volunteering, how to attract volunteers and how to design and run voluntary programs.
The second part focused on the benefits of voluntary work and the qualities of volunteers, the skill of volunteer work, the steps of preparing a voluntary project, and the method of implementing voluntary projects.
The Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Khalid Al-Ofaisan, praised the efforts of the Volunteer Club and its programs along with volunteer campaigns that serve university and community students.
Dr. Khalid also stressed concern of the Deanship to organize such programs and courses that are concerned with raising awareness and honing the skills of university students.
