Majmaah University Launches the 7th Student Forum with the 2034 World Cup Innovative Solutions Hackathon

The Deanship of Student Affairs has announced the launch of the 7th Student Forum, which focuses on discovering students' skills and supporting their talents. The first edition of this student forum was launched approximately 6 years ago, through which the Deanship of Student Affairs has sought to support student activities, improve their outcomes, and enhance the quality of student participation. The forum has become the most prominent competitive platform for students at the university and the most attractive venue for their creativity.

Dr. Bader Al-Sulami, the Dean of Student Affairs, stated that the deanship operates in line with the university's strategic plan to design, develop, and implement programs that motivate students to contribute to the progress and development of their nation, serve their community, and showcase and refine their talents. Through this forum, the deanship aims to create an annual competitive platform that attracts students' innovations. The deanship also strives to make the forum a competitor in terms of organization, quality, and diversity of projects, contributing to the advancement and development of our beloved nation through research projects and creative works in various disciplines. The forum equips students with a range of academic and personal skills, while instilling values of cooperation, fair competition, academic integrity, and honesty.

Dr. Al-Sulami added that the forum receives significant attention and support from the university's administration and leadership. The total value of prizes for this seventh edition exceeds 200,000 Saudi Riyals, sponsored by the Student Fund.

He emphasized that this edition is unique with the addition of the 2034 World Cup Innovative Solutions Hackathon, which targets several tracks, including:

  • Cultural and Tourism Solutions

  • Technical and Innovative Solutions

  • Crowd Management and Event Organization

  • Sustainability and Environment
