As the part of the continuous activities done in the preparatory year, the department of woman, Zulfa Branch, an activity, affiliated to the mathematics subject, namely, the Fragrance of the Past and the Modernity of the Present was performed on Wednesday 19/02/1436 H. The activity covers the following topics: an introductory power point presentation concerned with the preparatory year, a comparison between the present and the past, bazaar for traditional and modern dishes. Packages of traditional sweets were distributed among the attendees. At the end of the activity, the students agreed that the money incurred from such activity would be directed to the orphans belonging to the charitable societies. In this respect, a deep thanking is extended to those who are responsible for such activity.
