The Deanship of the Preparatory Year represented by its Dean Dr. Waleed Al-Bisher held an introductory meeting on Tuesday 21/04/1436with its students on the occasion of the dean’s new deanship position. The meeting started with recitation from the Holy Quran by student Abdurrahman Al-Shalhoub followed by a speech by the Dean. Dr. Al-Besher welcomed students and spoke about the outstanding role of the deanship in preparing highly-skilled students with the ability to move forward depending on themselves throughout their university life. Then Dr. Khalid Al-Shabanat, Deputy of Quality and Development, gave a speech about the significant part of the Quality Department illustrating the college role towards students and vice versa. Mr.Ihab Yaghi, Supervisor of the Academic Affairs delivered another speech highlighting several issues concerning the academic status of the PYP student. Mr. Nour Dodeen, Supervisor of Student Affairs, also pointed out the activities, roles of the Student Activity Unit, its achievements and effectiveness. At the end of the meeting, the dean answered student’s questions about various issues and difficulties facing them. Then he made some promises to consider these problems and try to solve them in the near future.
