In collaboration between both the Deanship of the Preparatory Year as an executive body and Student Affairs Deanship as a funding authority, an IELTS Course is being given to medical students and students of other majors at the Preparatory year Program. The 36 students who applied to the course have been divided into two groups, one given by Mr. Nour Dodeen, a faculty member, from 6:30 to 8:30 and another by Mr. Sherif Akl, a faculty member, from 4:00 to 6:00. The course is being held at the Preparatory Year Building in Majmaah. The purpose of such training program is to enhance medical students’ language abilities to obtain the 4.5 overall band score in the actual IELTS test, which is demanded by the College of Medicine at Al-Majmaah University as an admission requirement
