The Dean of the College, Dr. Ashwaq Asiri, had a meeting with the director of Nursing Affairs at the Ministry of Health and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Society for Professional Nursing, Dr. Muhammad Al-Ghamdi.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed a number of important issues related to education and training in the field of nursing, and highlighted the need to enhance field training programs for students in hospitals and health centers affiliated with the Ministry of Health.
The Dean of the College of Nursing expressed her appreciation for the significant role played by the Ministry of Health in supporting medical and nursing education, stressing the importance of close cooperation between the two sides to achieve common goals.
The college seeks to create an integrated educational environment that contributes to the graduation of qualified nursing cadres that meet the needs of the labor market.
The director stressed the importance of partnership with academic institutions to enhance the quality of health services provided, pointing out that the Ministry welcomes such meetings that aim to develop national competencies in the field of nursing.
