About the College
The college started as a result of royal instructions for expansion in the establishment of universities and colleges in different regions of the Kingdom and the need to accommodate students who wish to join in the various disciplines due to the increasing numbers of high school graduates in this province and neighboring provinces. The number of high school students reached to 2436 students in 1425H.
The Applied Medical Sciences College at Majmaah University was established in 18/1/1428H. It was one of King Saud University colleges then converted to Majmaah University by a Royal Decree on 3rd Ramadan 1430H (24th August 2009H). The university was honored by the issuance of the Royal Decree on 30th Dhul Hijja 1430H (17th December2009G) to appoint Dr. Khaled Bin Saad Al-Muqrin as the first Rector of the University.
