Supported by their Excellences the Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences Dr. Nasser Ali-AL Jarallah and the deputy Vice-Dean of female campus Dr. Amal Abdullah Al-Otaibi, the student Kawthar Hassan Al-Otaibi held the opening ceremony for her pioneering project, initially the idea of the Sixth Scientific Conference, in the multi-purpose hall. The project, entitled “Pearl Veil” aims at educating young people and getting them accustomed to the veil from an early age. It was officially inaugurated on Wednesday, 20/ 05/1436 AH, 11th March 2015 AD, and was licensed by the Ministry of Commerce with a business record. The ceremony began with verses from the Holy Quran followed by the speech of the student Kawthar Al-Otaibi who had briefly explained the idea behind the project, its objectives and its dimensions. AL Otaibi presented then her tribute and thanks for each of the supervisors of the project inside and outside the college. The second phase of the ceremony was dedicated to the second fashion show of the Veil Foundation. On behalf of all college employees we congratulate Kawthar for such amazing achievement.
