His Excellency the Rector of the University had a look at the final draft of the self- study of the Medical Instruments Technology section which was presented to the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). His Excellency the director of the university, Dr Khaled Ben Saad Elmokaran, welcomed his Excellency, the university vice-rector for educational affairs and the head of the supervisory committee of the development project in order to prepare the university for the academic accreditation, Dr Mohamed Ben Othman Rokban, His Excellency the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Dr Nacer Ben Ali Aljar Allah, The Honorable Faculty Adviser for quality, Dr Adnan Anaika, and their Excellencies the university agents in his office where he was given the final draft of the self- study of the medical instruments technology section which was presented to the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology within the framework of the university preparations for the reception of the evaluation group of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), which would visit the university in order to pursue the final evaluation concerning the international academic accreditation. Then, his Excellency, the university vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr Mohamed Ben Othman Rokban, spoke about the university’s orientations and its constant quest for not only strengthening its internal efficiency but also ameliorating the level of performance at the university and its programs in order to be prepared for getting the academic accreditation, and therefore guaranteeing the output at the colleges of the university. Dr. Rokban also stressed that the College of Applied Medical Sciences had always been the leader of the other university’s faculties in getting the academic accreditation as it had already done, thanks to God, all the necessary requirements for it. Besides, his Excellency the director of the university listened to a detailed explanation by his Excellency, Dr Nacer Ben Ali Aljar Allah, concerning the latest developments that were reached as well as the best efforts so as to complete and to meet all the essential requirements and therefore to get the academic accreditation with God’s will. In addition, while examining the self-study, his Excellency, the director of the university, gave credit to that extraordinary work as well as what was achieved on one hand and the serious pursuit of the academic accreditation on the other one. Moreover, his majesty highlighted that the university would be capable of much more triumphs thanks to God firstly and to the brilliant competencies whose role was vital for the university’s prosperity and advancement secondly. At the end of the meeting, his Excellency, the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr Mohamed Ben Othman Rokban, thanked his Excellency, the director of the University, for his continuous attention and his everlasting care for accomplishing excellence in not only the university colleges but also its various administrations.
