Under the instructions of Dr. Muhammad Al-Aydarous- Head of the Department of Laboratories at the College, the students of the Laboratories Department in Majmaah and Zulfi took part in the World Day for Laboratory activities which took place at King Khalid Hospital in Majmaah. The College students were received by the Head of training at the hospital, Mr. Salih Al-Hijilan. This event aims at raising awareness of the role of laboratories as a cornerstone of healthcare services. The activities in the celebration featured presentations by consultants and specialists working in the departments of Chemistry, Biology, Blood, drugs, parasites as well as pathology laboratories. These explanations centered on disease discovery, causes and examinations of the disease, along with the samples needed for each one.
The physicians showed cooperation with students in the discussion and answering their inquiries.
