10th Seminar held by Department of Computer Science and Information

In the presence of the Head of Department of Computer Science and Information, Dr. Fayez Al-Fayez and faculty members, the 10th seminar for the academic year 1440/1441 AH was held at the Department.
Presented by Dr. Mohammed Wajeeh, the seminar was entitled “A Brief Introduction to Deep Learning”.
The seminar explained the concept of deep learning, which is one type of machine learning but has much deeper level than that of machine learning. It has models that are useful for complex tasks such as emotional analysis and computer vision. The deep learning models train computer to solve problems.
A Q&A session was held at the end of the seminar which was very informative.
