As part of the College’s preparations for the final exams of the current semester, the Assessment and Evaluation Unit in the College has held a number of sessions and meetings in order to discuss the preparation process for the final exams. Dr. Ibrahim Shaarani, the head of the Unit, clarified that these meetings have been conducted under the directives of the College of Science Dean, Dr. Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Al Abbody; and under the supervision of the College’s Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Wael Al-Triqi. Dr. Shaarani also stated that the Unit had already held several meetings during the current semester to discuss the best mechanisms for the implementation of the final exams, and that- for the first time- the Unit administration has eliminated paperwork and adopted a more computer-based work; this step has been taken in order to benefit from the so-called ‘electronic cloud’. This new ‘transfer’ is applied to all the technical and administrative exam-related work and the preparation for the faculty members’ invigilation and exams schedules.
