College of Science organizes World Diabetes Day’s Campaign

The College of Science in Zulfi, represented by the Unit of Community Service (female campus), organized in collaboration with Department of Public Health at Zulfi Public Hospital an awareness campaign on the occasion of the World Diabetes Day.
A vaccination campaign against seasonal flu was conducted.
The aim of the campaign is to spread the culture of health awareness, explaining the best way to control blood sugar level, as well as to educate non-diabetics in the ways to prevent the disease.
The event included an exhibition where brochures and leaflets were distributed that encourage for early detection of diabetes to avoid the disease complications.
An awareness lecture was presented by the representative of Department of Public Health at Zulfi’s General Hospital Dr. Sumayya Abdu Mustafa.
