The first meeting was held by the Vice-Dean’s Office for Quality & Development at the College of Science in Zulfi to discuss tasks, powers, and executive plan for the upcoming period.
The meeting was chaired by the vice-dean for quality and development, Dr. Essam al-Malki, who highlighted the importance of quality, development, and academic accreditation, pointing out that they are no longer optional but part and parcel of the entire academic work.
Several discussions took place with members from the Academic Accreditation Unit at the college about a wide-range of topics such as the requirements of program-based accreditation and the readiness of the college’s programs to meet them.
Addressing the current mechanism of work as well as other details related to quality at academic departments, the dean requested a timetable for the initiatives of all units, hoping the work would measure up to the expectations of MU rector, Dr. Khalid al-Muqren, vice-rectors and the dean of College of Science.
