The Community Service Unit at the College of Applied Medical Sciences held an activity to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day.
This activity was held at Obour Center for Human Development, which hosts more than (55) children with Down syndrome. The activity took place in the presence of specialties from different fields including special education, physiotherapy, speech, and psychology.
The event was prepared by a lecture in the Department of Physiotherapy and Health Rehabilitation, Ms. Noura Abdul Al-Mutairi, and a number of fourth-level students from the Department of Physiotherapy. The initiative featured a number of sections including mental games - kinetic games - healthy meals - gifts for mothers of children and the center's employees.
