Within the framework of mutual cooperation between public and private sectors to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 which is concerned about environment and sustainable development, the College of Science in Zulfi participated in the afforestation campaign which was held in cooperation with the Office of Environment, Water & Agriculture.
The college was represented by the dean, Dr. Hani al-Guhayz, the vice-dean for graduate studies & scientific research, Dr. Abdullah al-Qashami and the head of Community Service Unit, Mr. Nasser al-Basri who planted seedlings in the National Zulfi Park.
The aim of the campaign is to reduce desertification by planting more trees, raise awareness of public about environment and encourage people to volunteer.
