Academic Advising Unit conducts a workshop on importance of academic advising for students

Under the patronage of the dean of the College of Science in Zulfi, Dr. Hani Al-Quhayz, the Academic Advising Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Computer Science and Information, conducted a workshop entitled “importance of academic advising for students”.

The aim of the workshop is to introduce students to the concept and goals of student advising, types and mechanisms of student advising. Students were also briefed about the skills and tasks of academic advisor and samples of were provided.

The workshop was presented by Dr. Mahdi Al-Jammali in the presence of the head of Academic Advising Unit, Dr. Abdel Aziz Al-Othaim and the head of Computer Science, Dr. Fayez Al-Fayez.
