The Student Guidance and Counseling Unit holds a training course on the Basics of SQL Language

The Vice-Dean's Office, represented by the Student Guidance and Counseling Unit, conducted a course in cooperation with the Computer and Information Department entitled "Basics of SQL Language for Control and Database Management".

The course was presented by Dr. Abdullah Al-Qashami who discussed the basics of databases and its features. Database management systems (DBMS) and the languages ​​used in their development were also discussed along with the available programs and applications that help developers and designers manage databases.

The presenter then talked about how to use SQL as a tool for developing and managing databases. This included creating a database, deleting or adding, as well as querying data. A hands-on training was conducted using SQL workbeanch and dealing with the system in developing and managing databases.
