The Vice-Rector's Office for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research (VOPSSR) was established in 1431 AH to be responsible for scientific research and postgraduate programs to lead and excel in scientific research, qualify national cadres academically and professionally and improve the university's rank globally.
The (VOPSSR), represented by its three research centers and the Publishing and Translation Center, strives to spread the culture of scientific research, address community issues and problems, encourage publishing and translation in international journals and provide up-to-date sources of knowledge and information.
It is also responsible for the sustainable professional and academic development for faculty members, recruit national competencies that contribute to the development of society.
The Vice-Rector's Office also signs local and international agreements that serve the educational process through the International Cooperation Department.
Partnership with the community is also one of the its tasks along with exploring and sponsoring talented students and transforming innovative ideas into products of economic value with the participation of companies and businessmen.
